Race update 4: Thursday 25 Sept pm
The Fleet continue on their journey south along the race track,
though sadly still under motor. In order to conserve fuel, Spaniel
(Latvia) is being towed by Mir (Russia) and Gedania (Poland) is being towed by Sedov (Russia).
Meanwhile Pogoria (Poland) left the Port of Aveiro, Ilhavo at
1315 GMT and has reported her postion on this evening's
radio schedule so now appears on the fleet tracking.
Challenger 1 and Challenger 4 (both UK) are both on their way to rejoin the fleet after their fuel stop in Cascais, and can be seen on fleet tracking slightly west of the other vessels.
Endeavour (UK) is ahead of the fleet and has been able to set sail in around 10 kts this afternoon, increasing the likelihood of an actual race start coordinated by the communications vessel tomorrow at 1200 hrs GMT.
The next report will appear here tomorrow, Friday 26 Sept at approx 0800 hrs.
